Taylor Swift

Known for her widespread success in both the country and pop music genres, Taylor Swift has made an extremely successful career for herself, having won a number of Grammy Awards and continually topping the charts. Born in Wyomissing, PA, on December 13, 1989, Swift cultivated a love for singing when she was just a little girl. By the age of 16, she released her self-titled debut album, which featured the popular hits “Our Song” and “Teardrops on My Guitar”. The album wound up selling over 2.5 million copies, but Swift at that point had not yet peaked.

She went onto release Fearless in 2008, and most recently Red in 2012, which sold over 1.2 million copies in its first week and made it all the way to the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart. The country-to-pop superstar has also sung duets with big names like John Mayer, Luke Bryan, and her friend Ed Sheeran. She recently wrapped up her RED Tour, which took her through North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
