Oliver Tree

Oliver Tree, born Oliver Nickell in Santa Cruz, California is a singer, DJ, and music producer specializing in the electronic music genre and dub step. The ‘Tree’ part of his moniker comes from his actual middle name. He began learning to play the piano at the age of 5 and DJ’ed locally in Santa Cruz. Oliver got his start in the music industry messing around in his room and producing music on his laptop.  His Soundcloud profile caught the attention of an independent label in London, England. The label approached Oliver to produce a three song EP.  He released his debut EP in 2015 entitled Demons. The single “Karma Police,” a remake of a Radiohead song, received wide radio play by BBC radio and a nod of approval from Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke. Since then Oliver has released a number of singles including “Welcome to LA,” “Cheapskate,” “All I Got,” and most recently the single “Enemy.”
