Jason Statham
Jason Statham was born on July 26, 1967 in Shirebrook, England. He started as a male model and made background appearances in music videos. He played the role of Bacon in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels in 1998 alongside the singer Sting. In 2002, he earned a lead role in The Transporter, beginning his career as an action star. He later worked on Mean Machine, The Italian Job and Cellular. Statham later starred in Crank, Crank: High Voltage, The Bank Job and Death Race and its sequel. He starred in The Expendables before joining the cast of Fast and Furious for the movie Furious 7. He also headed a thriller film Homefront and another one called Hummingbird.
Statham returned for both Expendables sequels and the action comedy Spy. He was awarded the Women Film Critics Circle award for Most Offensive Male Character for his part in 2006’s Crank.
