WizKid

WizKid, born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, is a Nigerian-based Afro-pop/Reggae musician who is currently studying sociology at Lagos State University. WizKid first began his journey into music at age eleven, when he began singing at his local church. His professional career launched in 2010, when he released two popular singles – “Hola At Your Boy,” and “Tease Me.”

In 2011, WizKid released his debut album, Superstar, and played a sold out concert only months later. He won BET’s ‘Best African Act Award’ in 2012., and in 2014, released a second album entitled AYO. During his career, WizKid has been associated with fellow artists: OJB, Jezreel, Hman, Ugly, Sound Sultan, Ruffman, M.I., Akon, and Young Jeezy.
