Tove Styrke

Tove Styrke was born on November 19, 1992 in Sweden. She is a singer and songwriter and famously known as a contestant on Swedish Idol 2009. Although she ended up in third place, her career still took off after the series ended.

In 2010, her first self-titled album was released, Tove Styrke. It was on the top charts for 35 weeks in Sweden. Many popular singles that came from that album included Call My Name, Sticks and Stones, White Light Moment, and Million Pieces. In 2011, she released an EP called High and Low. In 2015 she released another album, Kiddo, the popular single from that album being Ego.

She was nominated for Best Song of the Year for Call My Name and she won the Best Newcomer award at P3 Guld. She was listed as one of the “10 Artists to Know in 2011” by the New York Post. Styrke continues to create music and recently released a lyric video for Say My Name.
