The Wiggles
The Wiggles are an Australian music group, aimed at children, formed in Sydney in 1991. The current group consists of Emma Watkins, Simon Pryce, Lachlan Gillespie and Anthony Field. With impressive and catchy songs, the group sings about subjects such as hot potatoes and cold spaghetti, making them a staple of children’s television.
With over thirty nominations and over twenty wins thus far, the group was inducted into the Aria Hall of Fame in 2011. The group has released over fifty studio albums thus far, their music is known for being energetic, well written and consistently energetic, the groups albums often hit ARIA Gold and four early albums went double Platinum, including Yummy Yummy, and Wake Up Jeff! As well as Big Red Car.
