The Magician

The Magician is the stage name of Stephen Fasano, a Belgian DJ/Producer formerly of Aeroplane. He released his debut solo single, “I Don’t Know What to Do” in 2011 and subsequently released three EPs in collaboration with Producer/DJ Yuksek. The Magician signed to Parlophone/Warner Records and joined Machine Management’s roster in 2013; his first major label debut was the single “When the Night is Over.” The Magician is best known for his remixes, many of which have topped the European charts. His remix of Sebastien Tellier’s “Cochon Ville” has charted 5 times. The Magician regularly releases “Magic Tapes” on the free music platform Soundcloud, continuing the Aeroplane tradition of providing free music for fans. Thump, Vice’s electronic-centered blog, calls The Magician one of “electronic music’s most respected tastemakers”.
