Coming from Dayton, Ohio, US, The Devil Wears Prada was formed in 2005. The band took their name from a novel and movie. The band was found by Mike Hranica, Jeremy DePoyster, Chris Rubey, Andy Trick, James Baney, and Daniel Williams. They recorded “Patterns of a Horizon” EP in 2005. Soon, they signed under Victory Records’ Rise.

In 2006, The Devil Wears Prada released the album “Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord.” It sold 30,000 units. Then they started recording for 2007’s “Plagues.” Then in 2009, “With Roots Above and Branches Below” followed. Their concept EP “Zombie” was released in 2010.
