Thaddeus Young

Thaddeus Charles Young was born on June 21, 1988 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Young plays Power forward and Small forward for the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He attended High school at Mitchell in Memphis, Tennessee and played a season of college basketball for Georgia Tech from 2006 to 2007. He got drafted in the first round as the 12th overall selection in the 2007 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers. Young played for the Philadelphia 76ers (2007–2014), Minnesota Timberwolves (2014–2015), and the Brooklyn Nets (2015–2016) before signing with the Indiana Pacers. He won the NBA All-Rookie Second Team (2008), Second-team Parade All-American (2006) and McDonald’s All-American (2006).
