Tanya Tucker

Tanya Tucker, born Tanya Denise Tucker on October the 10th 1958 in Texas and is an American country music singer and songwriter. Starting a career in 1972 at the young age of 13, she had her breakthrough with the hit Delta Dawn. One of the few child singers to mature without loosing her audience, the artist has enjoyed a successful career in the decades since.

With twenty four albums released thus far, her most recent albums are titled Tanya and My Turn. With many of her albums certified Gold or Platinum, some of her hit songs include Strong Enough to Bend, Lizzie and the Rainman, Blood Red and Goin’ Down and What’s Your Mama’s Name? She has enjoyed a long and lasting career to this day.
