Steve Guttenberg

Steve Guttenberg is an American actor, director, producer, and author born in Brooklyn, New York on August 24, 1958. He is best known for his roles in the films Police Academy, Short Circuit, Three Men and a Baby, and Three Men and a Little Lady. He made his debut in acting in a television commercial for Kentucky Fried Chicken. In 1977 he has a role in film Rollercoaster that was uncredited, but that same year had his first credited role in the film The Chicken Chronicles. He has since been in films and television series like Cocoon, Police Academy, Short Circuit, High Spirits Veronica Mars, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Sons of Liberty, After Party, A Novel Romance, and many more. His directorial debut was in the film P.S. Your Cat Is Dead in 2002. In 2012 he published his memoir titled The Gutenberg Bible. He received a Tony Randall Lifetime Achievement Award from the Fire Island Golden Wagon Film Festival for his work in film in 2008 and in 2011 received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
