Stephon Gilmore

Stephon Stiles Gilmore was born on September 19, 1990 in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Gilmore attended the University of South Carolina where he played twelve games as a freshman in the 2009 season. He completed a 29-yard pass in the 4th quarter of the 2010 Chick-fil-A-Bowl.

Gilmore was selected in the first round and 10th overall pick of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills. In 2012, he signed a four-year contract with the Bills and had a fifth-year option. In December of 2015 Gilmore had surgery on a torn labrum and was placed on Injured Reserve. After being released from the Bills in 2017 Gilmore signed a five-year contract with the New England Patriots.
