Rapper Sage the Gemini was born Dominic Wynn Woods in San Francisco, California, on June 20, 1992. Sage was always extremely interested in music and recording, and ended his high school career short to make it his full-time pursuit. In 2008, he released “You Should Know”, his first single, which was made available through MySpace. The song was viewed online by more than 3 million people, and he later signed with Black Money Music Group. The spring of 2013 saw the release of his singles “Red Nose” and “Gas Pedal”, which benefited from tremendous airtime. A few months later, Sage closed on a deal with Republic Records, and shortly after, his two singles went Platinum. The rapper released his debut album Remember Me in March of 2014, which peaked at the #5 slot on the US Rap charts.
