Ryan Kalil
Ryan Kalil is a former American professional football player born in Tucson, Arizona on March 29, 1985. He spent his 12 season career playing as a center for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League. Kalil played football in high school at Servite High School in Anaheim, California. He went on to play college football at the University of Southern California for the USC Trojans football team. In 2007 he was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the second round, 59th overall, in the 2007 NFL Draft. In 2011 he was signed to a six-year contract for $49 million, making him the highest paid center in NFL history. Kalil played in 148 NFL games and started 145. He was selected to play in the Pro Bowl in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, and 2015. In 2018 he announced his retirement from the NFL.
