Roger Federer is a Swiss tennis player for in Basel, Switzerland on August 8, 1981. In his career he has won 20 singles Grand Slam championships, the most a male player has ever won. He has also won six ATP Finals, 27 ATP World Tour Master 1000 titles, and 21 ATP World Tour 500 titles. Federer is ranked at number 6 in men’s single tennis by the Association of Tennis Professionals and has held the number one spot in the ATP rankings more time than any other male tennis player. He started playing tennis at the age of eight and became Switzerland’s junior champion at age 14. Roger has broke numerous records throughout his time in professional tennis and is thought to have one of the best all around game. He has also won an Olympic gold medal and silver medal and holds 27 Guinness World Records, the highest number one person has held within one discipline. He is endorsed by many big name companies including Rolex, Gillette, Mercedes-Benz, Nike, NetJets, Wilson, and many more.
