Radney Foster is an American singer-songwriter originally from Del Rio, TX. Foster was originally part of the Foster & Llyod Duo with Bill Lloyd, but began his solo career in 1992. Foster & Llyod released three studio albums in as many hears, with nine songs hitting the Top Country charts. His first album, Del Rio, TX 1959 included four consecutive top 40 hits: “Just Call Me Lonesome”, “Nobody Wins”, “Easier Said Than Done”, and “Hammer and Nails”. Foster has released eleven albums in total, including “The Chosen Few”, a limited EP with only 1,000 copies in circulation. Foster’s solo albums have met with more critical success than commercial success; his last top 10 hit was 1993’s “Nobody Wins” off Del Rio, TX 1959. Still, he has a dedicated following and continues to evolve as an artist outside of the mainstream county scene.
