Princess Nokia

Princess Nokia, born Destiny Nicole Frasqueri on June the 14th 1992 in New York City is an American rapper of Puerto Rican descent. Signed to Rough Trade Records, her first song Destiny was released in 2010 and gained modest popularity, her second track Bitch I’m Posh went viral with over 100k plays on SoundCloud.

Praised for her feminist attitude, she founded the podcast Smart Girls Club and utilises her fame for fostering open discussion about things she is passionate about. With four mixtapes released so far and one studio album, 1992 Deluxe released in 2017, some of her hits from the album include: Tomboy, Kitana and Brujas. The album was a hit with her fans and critics and peaked at 25 on the US charts.
