Rapper Post Malone was born Austin post in 1996 in Syracuse, New York. His father worked for the Dallas Cowboys and he wanted to pursue a music career after being enthralled by the video game “Guitar Hero.” When he heard Terror Squad’s “Lean Back, he then decided to become an MC. He moved to Los Angeles in 2014 and released the single, “White Iverson,” on Soundcloud in early 2015, and it received over one million views within one month. “White Iverson” received a lot of critical acclaim and was labeled one of the best rap releases in 2015.
