P.J. Tucker

P.J. Tucker was born May 5, 1985 in Raleigh, North Carolina. He attended William G. Enloe High School, which is located in Raleigh. He then played for the University of Texas, where he earned the Big 12 Player of the Year in 2006. That same year, Tucker was the 35th overall pick in the NBA draft by the Toronto Raptors. In 2007, he was sent to the Colorado 14ers, which is part of the NBA Development League. The following year, he signed with Hapoel Holon on the Israeli Premiere League. He won the MVP trophy while with Hapoel Holon.

In 2012, he signed with the Phoenix Suns. During the 2015 season, he was the only player to play 82 games. In 2016, he scored 21 points in a game versus the Denver Nuggets, which was a season-high for him. In February 2017, he was traded back to Toronto but then signed a four-year contract wit the Houston Rockets.
