Omari Ishmael Grandberry was born on November 12, 1984 in Inglewood, California. He is better known as Omarion. He was the lead vocalist for the boy bad B2K, who released several hits that reached the Billboard Top 100 charts including “Girlfriend” and “Bump Bump Bump.” In 2005, the band had split up so Omarion went solo, releasing his album O, which ended up getting him a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary R&B Album. His subsequent albums, 21, Ollusion, and Sex Playlist, all reached the Hot 100 Chart over the years. Omarion has also dabbled in acting, appearing in films like Fat Albert and You Got Served. His best friend is fellow hip-hop artist Bow Wow.
