Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds is an alternative art-rock band helmed from Melbourne. The line-up changes can be summed up to dozens of rotating tour and studio crews, with Nick cave as the lead. Nick cave quit his old punk band, called Birthday Party, and began forming his own project. His first new album was 1984‘s “From Her To Eternity,” which rose to #40 on the UK Albums chart.
Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds became a staple on UK charts and eventually worldwide charts starting with 1992‘s “Henry’s Dream” on the Mute Records label. Their latest album, “Skeleton Tree” (2016) hit #1 in Australia, Denmark, New Zealand, and Norway, and ranked in the top-ten on almost every other major chart. They toured as part of the 1994 Lollapalooza Festival, the Abattoir Blues Tour, and several other worldwide tours. They were nominated for Q Awards in 1999 and 2008.
