Mohamed Bamba

Mohamed Bamba is an American professional basketball player born in Harlem, New York on May 12, 1998. He is currently a center for the Orlando Magic of the National Basketball Association. He played basketball in high school at Cardigan Mountain School in Canaan, New Hampshire and Westtown School in Westtown, Pennsylvania. Bamba went on to play college basketball at the University of Texas in 2017. His college debut was on November 10, 2017 against Northwestern State. He decided to forgo his last three seasons to declare for the 2018 NBA Draft. He was selected by the Orlando Magic in the first round, 6th overall, in the 2018 NBA Draft. Bamba signed a rookie contract with the Magic and played in his first NBA game on October 1, 2918 in a preseason game. On October 17, 2018 he played in his first regular season game against the Miami Heat.
