Migos
Hip-hop group Migos, which hails from Atlanta, Georgia, was formed in 2011 and is comprised of Quavious Marshall, who goes by Quavo, Kirshnick Ball, who goes by Takeoff, and Kiari Cephus, who goes by Offset. Their breakthrough hit, a single which received immense air time in 2013, was titled “Versace”, and in addition to charting at #99 on the Billboard Hot 100, it was also named as one of the 25 Best Songs of 2013 by XXL. The single was preceded by their album Y.R.N. (Young Rich Niggas), and was named the 6th best hip-hop album of the year by SPIN Magazine. Migos would go on to release a mixtape entitled No Label 2 in early 2014, and shortly after they signed a contract with 300 Entertainment. In the summer of 2014, they released yet another critically acclaimed single, “Fight Night”.
