Mick Jenkins

Rapper Mick Jenkins was born Jayson Jenkins on April 16, 1991 in Huntsville, Alabama. He is a member of the hip-hop group Free Nation. In January 2012, he released his first mixtape, “The Mickstape” and followed it up with another entitled “The Pursuit of HappyNess.” His mixtape, “Trees & Truths,” was released in April 2013. He then collaborated with Chance the Rapper and Vic Mensa on the single “Crossroads.” In July 2014, he released the visual/single, “Martyrs,” which received a lot of praise, and in August, he released another mixtape, “Water[s].” In August 2015, he released his debut EP “Wave[s].”
