Malcolm Middleton

Malcolm Middleton was born in Falkirk, Scotland on Dec 31, 1973. He also maintains the pseudonym Human Don’t Be Angry. He used to be a member of the band Arab Strap with Aidan Moffat.

In 2002, Middleton released his solo album, 5:14 Fluoxytine Seagull Alcohol John Nicotine. He came up with another album the year after his band split up in 1997. A Brighter Beat which spurned the single “We’re All Going To Die” which made it to the UK charts. In 2008, he released another album, Sleight of Heart. This was followed by the Waxing Gibbous in 2009. Music and Words were released in 2014, followed by Summer of ’13 in 2016. His latest album, Bananas, which contained eight songs including “Gut Feeling,” was released in 2018.
