Ludwig Göransson
Ludwig Göransson is a Swedish composer, conductor, and record producer born in Linkoping, Sweden on September 1, 1984. He is best known for his work with the popular artist Childish Gambino and film director Ryan Coogler. He moved to Los Angeles in 2007 to study at the University of Southern California Scoring and Motion Picture and Television program. In 2011 he composed the music for the award-winning short film Fig. Göransson has composed music for the films Marley & Me, Stretch, The Town That Dreaded Sundown, Top Five, Creed, Black Panther, Death Wish, Venom, Slice, Creed II and others. He has also composed music for the shows Community, Happy Endings, New Girl, Lincoln Loud, Satisfaction, Angie Tribeca, Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj, and The Mandalorian. In 2010 he started composing music for the rapper Childish Gambino and has frequently worked with him since. He has also produced music for the artists and groups Chance the Rapper, Pell, and HAIM. Throughout his career he has been nominated for a number of awards and has won three Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, a Hollywood Music in Media Award, and a Seattle Film Critics Society Award.
