Liu Yifei

Liu Yifei is a Chinese actress, model, and singer born in Wuhan, Hubei, China on August 25, 1987. At the age of ten, she started modeling while learning how to act, dance, and play piano. She was admitted into the Beijing Film Academy at 15 years old and made her television debut in 2003 in the show The Story of a Noble Family. She continued landing roles in the shows Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils, Chinese Paladin, Doukou Nianhua, The Return of the Condor Heroes, and The Love of Hypnosis. In 2004 she made her debut in film in the movie Love of May and has since had roles in the films The Love Winner, Love in Disguise, The Four, White Vengeance, The Assassins, Outcast, For Love or Money, Night Peacock and more. Yifei released her debut studio album in 2006 self-titled Liu Yifei and followed it up that same year with her second album All My Words. Throughout her career she has been nominated for several awards and has won a Chinese Film Media Award, a Macau International Movie Festival Award, a Guangzhou College Student Film Festival Award, and a Hong Kong Society of Cinematographers Award. In 2009 she was named as one of the New Four Dan Actresses in China.
