Born on September 4, 1994, in Atlanta, Georgia, LightSkinKeisha (also Light Skin Keisha) began her journey as a social media personality. She used her popular Instagram account to give scathing commentary in her videos. These videos, in addition to many modeling shots, have earned her more than 930,000 followers. Growing up, she was always on the search for new music, and in 2017, her passion turned professional. She began posting short musical clips of her rapping onto her Instagram account and soon after, she uploaded “Weather” to SoundCloud.

“Weather”, which was produced by her close friend, Wili Hendrixs, hit close to two million streams. This song was accompanied by a hilarious video, which showcases Keisha’s humor. Since the release of “Weather”, LightSkinKeisha has put out numerous singles such as “Believe Dat”, “Treadmill”, and “Ride Good”.
