Leticia Bufoni

Leticia Bufoni is a Brazilian professional street skateboarder born in Sao Paulo, Brazil on April 13, 1993. She started skating at 9 years old and at 11 received her first skateboard from her grandma. At 14 years old she competed in the X Games in Southern California. She stayed in California after the X Games and started competing as a professional skateboarder. She was named the number one Skateboarder by World Cup of Skateboarding from 2010 to 2013. She became the only female to win three X Games Gold medals in the same year in 2013. In 2015 she won the first Street League Skateboarding Women’s SLS Super Crown World Championship in Chicago, Illinois. Bufoni has had partnerships with the brands Red Bull, GoPro, Bones Wheels, Grizzly Griptape, Beats By Dre, Venture Trucks and others. In 2016 she won a Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Sports Award for Queen of Swag. She has a playable character in the video game Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5.
