Kawhi Leonard

Kawhi Anthony Leonard was born on June 29, 1991, in Los Angeles, California. He is a professional basketball player who was drafted as a small forward by the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was the 15th selected player in the overall pick by the Indiana Pacers in the 2011 NBA draft. Leonard was traded to San Antonio later that night.

Leonard has won lots of awards and honors including the NBA championship in 2014, NBA Finals MVP in 2014, NBA All-Star and All-NBA First Team twice in 2016- 2017,  NBA Defensive Player of the Year  twice in 2015 – 2016, NBA All-Defensive First Team in 2015, 2016, and 2017, NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 2014, NBA All-Rookie First Team in 2012, NBA steals leader in 2015, Consensus second-team All-American in 2011, First-team All-MWC in 2010- 2011, and the California Mr. Basketball in 2009.
