Jimmy Wong is an American actor, singer, songwriter, chef and host born in Seattle Washington on March 28, 1987. He is best known for his role as Ted in the web series Video Game High School and for his 2011 music video “Ching Chong: Asians in the Library Song.” After graduating from Middlebury College with a B.A. in theater in 2009, he moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue an acting career. He has a YouTube channel that he started in 2005 where he posts music videos, food videos, challenges and more. The channel has a following of 254k subscribers with over 20 million total video views. He has had roles in the shows, web series and films, Secret Weapon, John Dies at the End, MyMusic, Video Game High School, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – District Voices, Edger Allan Poe’s Murder Mystery Dinner Party, The Circle, Parker Plays, and Mulan. Wong is the co-host of the web shows Polaris Primetime and Feast of Fiction with Ashley Adams. He has won an International Academy of Web Television Award, two Streamy Awards, and a Guinness World Record.
