Jahlil Okafor

Jahlil Okafor was born on December 15, 1995 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He plays the center position Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Jahlil played high school basketball at Whitney Young in Chicago, Illinois and then college basketball at Duke University from 2014 to 2015. He was selected as the third overall pick in the first round of the NBA draft in 2015 by the Philadelphia 76ers.

He won the NBA All-Rookie First Team (2016), NCAA championship (2015),

Consensus first-team All-American (2015), USBWA National Freshman of the Year (2015), ACC Player of the Year (2015), McDonald’s All-American Game co-MVP (2014), Jordan Brand Classic co-MVP (2014), First-team Parade All-American (2014), and Illinois Mr. Basketball (2014). Jahlil won 3 gold medals while representing the USA including the FIBA World U19 Championship in 2013, FIBA World U17 Championship in 2012 and FIBA Americas U16 in 2011.
