Jacob Tremblay

Jacob Tremblay was born on October 5, 2006, in Vancouver, Canada. His film debut was in the animated film The Smurfs as Blue in 2013. His most notable performance happened two years later in Room. The next year he appeared in Before I Wake as Cody and in 2017 he was in The Book of Henry and Wonder.

He has been involved in the TV series Motive, The Last Man on Earth, American Dad!, Animals, and Pete the Cat.

He won several awards for his appearance in Room including the Young Entertainer Award for Best Leading Young Actor in a Feature Film, WAFCA Award for Best Youth Performance, Vancouver Film Critics Circle Best Actor in a Canadian Film, Satellite Awards for Breakthrough Performance, and San Diego Film Critics Society Awards for Breakthrough Artist.
