J.K. Simmons

JK Simmons, born Jonathan Kimble Simmons is an American voice actor and noted character actor.  Best known for playing Dr Emil Skoda in the long running series Law & Order and Vernon in the HBO Prison show Oz and the character of Will Pope on The Closer.

In film he is best known for playing J.Jonah Jameson in Sam Raimi’s Spiderman trilogy and Terence Fletcher in the hit film Whiplash. His work in the film led him to win more than thirty accolades such as an Academy Award, BAFTA Award and Golden Glove Award. As a voice actor he has voiced Tenzin in the fan favourite Legend of Korra for nickelodeon, Kai in Kung Fu Panda 3 and Mayor Lionheart in Disney’s Zootopoa.
