Felix Cartal
Felix Cartal is a Canadian EDM artist and DJ. He started out playing bass in a high school punk band name of Dysfunctional, playing venues around North Vancouver. In 2006, he turned his interest to electronic music and clubs, bringing his punk influences to the dance floor. By 2007, he was dropping remixes of songs such as Moving Units’ “Crash ‘n’ Burn Victims” and Dragonette’s “Take It Like a Man.”
Signing to the Dim Mak label in 2009, he started touring by opening for frequent collaborators MSTRKRFT on their Fist of God tour, and has since dropped the studio albums “Popular Music” (2010), “Different Faces” (2012), and “Next Season” (2018). His biggest chart success has been a 2017 remix of the New Radicals’ 1998 smash hit “You Get What You Give.”
