Eric Ebron

Eric Ebron was born in Newark, New Jersey on April 10, 1993. He was the first round, the 10th overall pick of the Detroit Lions in the 2014 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year contract with the team in 2014, and they exercised the fifth-year option for the 2018 season.

After he was cut by the Detroit Lions, he signed a two-year contract with the Indianapolis Colts. He wears the Colts jersey No. 85 and serves as the team’s tight end.

Ebron went to Ben L. Smith High school and the University of North Carolina. In 2012, he was chosen as second-team All-ACC. He was named second-team AP All American and first-team All-ACC in 2013. He was also a finalist for the John Mackey Award.
