Echo & the Bunnymen is an English rock band formed in Liverpool, England in 1978. The bands original members were Ian McCulloch on vocals, Will Sergeant on guitar, and Les Pattinson on bass. The current members of the band are Ian McCulloch on vocals and guitar and Will Sergeant on guitars and programming. In 1979 they released their debut single titled “The Pictures on My Wall.” The next year they released their debut studio album titled Crocodiles. The album charted at number 17 in the UK, 36 in New Zealand, and was certified gold in the UK. They have since released the studio albums Heaven Up Here, Porcupine, Ocean Rain, Echo & the Bunnymen, Reverberation, Evergreen, What Are You Going to Do with Your Life?, Flowers, Siberia, The Fountain, Meteorites, and The Stars, The Oceans & The Moon. They have also released 11 live albums, 10 compilation albums, and 8 EPs. The band has released music through the labels Korova, Zoo, Sire, Warner Bros., Euphoric, London, Cooking Vinyl, and Ocean Rain.
