Eagles of Death Metal

Coming from Palm Desert, California, Eagles of Death Metal was formed in 1998. Originally, the band was a side project of Josh Homme and Jesse Hughes. The two have been bonding with music since childhood. Though they went separate ways on their formative years, they then worked together to form Eagles of Death Metal releasing their debut music on Homme’s ongoing “Desert Sessions” series.

In 2006, Eagles of Death Metal toured with Strokes, leading up to their album “Death Sexy” in 2008. However, the band went hiatus soon after, while Homme went back to play for the Queens of the Stone Age. Then on 2015, Eagles of Death Metal released their album “Zipper Down” in October 2015.
