Duran Duran
Duran Duran is an English band formed in Birmingham in 1978. Duran Duran is a new wave and synthpop band consisting of Simon Le Bon, the lead singer, Nick Rhodes the keyboardist, John Taylor the bass guitarist and drummer, Roger Taylor. After three years of forming, the band released their self titled debut album, with such hits as Platen Earth and Careless Memories charting high, however it was the third single on the album, Girls on Film that went to the number five spot on the UK charts.
With thirteen albums released thus far, they are considered one of the most enduring bands to date. Some of their most recent music includes the hit songs Falling Down, Leave a Light On and Pressure Off, a song that features Janelle Monae and Nile Rodgers.
