DJ Chose

DJ Chose, born Norman Payne, is a rapper and producer born just outside Houston, Texas. He started collaborating with Brook Gang, with whom he would release his first hit “Pop That,” in 2011. The success of the track resulted in his working with artists such as Uncle Luke and Kirko Bangz. In 2015, he signed a deal with Artist Publishing Group, through which he has worked with the likes of Akon, Kevin Gates, and Trey Songz. He recently performed at the Scratchouse at SXSW.
