David Hasselhoff
David Hasselhoff is an American actor, singer, and producer born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 17, 1952. He is best known for his roles on the The Young and The Restless, Knight Rider, and Baywatch. His career in entertainment started in television and movies in 1975. He has been in numerous television shows and movies, including Baywatch, The New Guy, Click, Knight Rider, The Love Boat, Sons of Anarchy, Hoff the Record, DodgeBall, and numerous others. He released his first studio album in 1985 titled Night Rocker and has released 13 studio albums and 12 compilation albums over the course of his career. His music has had massive success in Germany with a #1 hit on the German pop charts in 1989. In 2000 he made his debut in theater in the musical Jekyll & Hyde and has also been in the productions of Chicago and The Producers. He has been a producer and writer on Baywatch, Hoff The Record, DH Live and Forever, Killing Hasselhoff, Baywatch: EP, and more. Throughout his career he has been nominated for a number of awards and has won a People’s Choice Award, a Bollywood Award, a Bambi Award, a TV Land Award, among others. He set a Guinness World Record as the most watched man on television that he kept until 2011.
