Daryl Mitchell
Daryl Mitchell is an American actor and musician born in The Bronx, New York on July 16, 1965. He is best known for his roles on Galaxy Quest, Veronica’s Closet, Ed, NCIS: New Orleans, and The John Larroquette Show. In the 1980’s he was part of the hip hop group Groove B. Chill and released the album Starting From Zero in 1990. His career in television started in 1985 on The Cosby Show and he has since been on shows like Law & Order, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Ed, Eve, Brothers, Desperate Housewives, Fear the Walking Dead, among others. In 1990 he made his debut in film on the movie House Party and has been in other films like 10 Things I Hate About You, Lucky Numbers, Black Knight, Inside Man, Playback, and more. He started the Daryl Mitchell Foundation that raises awareness about spinal cord injuries and is a spokesman for the Christopher Reeve Foundation after being partially paralyzed from a motorcycle accident in 2001.
