Christopher Nolan

Christopher Nolan was born in London, England on July 30, 1970. He received three Oscar nominations for his work in Memento (2000), Inception (2010), and Dunkirk (2017).

He received the Best Direction Award for Dunkirk from the 2018 AACTA International Awards. He won the Best Director from Empire Awards, UK in 2007 for The Prestige, in 2009 for The Dark Knight,   and in 2014 for Interstellar.

Nolan wrote the screenplay for Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises. He also wrote the story for Man of Steel. He serves as the executive producer of Transcendence, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Justice League. His earliest works as a director involved the shorts Tarantella, Larceny, and Doodlebug. He also serves as the producer for the first two.
