Chidinma Ekile

Chidinma Ekile is a Nigerian singer and songwriter born in Ketu, Kosofe, Lagos State on May 2, 1991. She became well known in 2010 after winning the third season of the show Project Fame West Africa. She started singing at 6 years old and by 10 she had joined her church’s choir. In 2010 she became a competitor in the third season of Project Fame West Africa. She released the singles “Jankoliko” and “Carry You Go” in 2011 that were produced by Oscar Heman Ackah. In 2012 she released her debut album titled Chidinma that was released with Capital Hill Records. In 2013 she released the singles “Bless My Hustle”, “Kite”, “Jolly”, and “Baby.” Throughout her career she has been nominated for a number of awards. In 2012 she won a Kora Award for Best Female West African Act and in 2013 she won a Nigeria Music Video Award for Best Pop Extra Video.
