Born on May 29, 1984, Carmelo Anthony came from Broooklyn, New York. He is a famous basketball player considered to be among the most prolific scorers in NBA. In 2003, he led Syracuse University for a national title. He was drafted by Denver Nuggets that same year, playing for the team in more than seven seasons. He was traded to New York Knicks in 2011.

He was drafted alongside LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, finishing in third-overall of the draft. In 2003-04, he was named to be included in the All-Rookie team. He tied an NBA record in 2008 where he got 33 points within a single quarter. He enjoyed his trade to the Knicks, as he will be back to his native New York. He is also a key member for the Gold-medal winning Olympic team in 2008 and 2012.
