Blasterjaxx

Formed in 2012 in the Netherlands, the electro house DJ/producer duo Blasterjaxx is comprised of Thom Jongkind and Idir Makhlaf. Originally, Thom Jongkind had been producing music by himself as a successful DJ, but decided that he wanted to form a new project with someone who shared his interest and passion for the industry. Shortly after meeting Idir Makhlaf, Blasterjaxx released the Reborn EP featuring the songs “Reborn” and “Where We Go”. The EP featured an appearance by fellow DJ Laidback Luke. The two later remixed songs by DJ Tiesto, and in addition to Laidback Luke, they would go on to collaborate with David Guetta, Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and many others. Blasterjaxx enjoyed one of the highest charting singles in 2013 with the release of “Faith”. Not long after, they were honored by DJ Mag as placing at #71 on the list of Top 100 best DJs.
