Big Thief

Big Thief is an American indie rock band formed in Brooklyn, New York in 2015. The members of the band are Adrianne Lenker on vocals and guitar, Buck Meek on backup vocals and guitar, Max Oleartchik on bass guitar, and James Krivchenia on drums. In 2016 they released their debut album titled Masterpiece with the label Saddle Creek. They have since released the albums Capacity with the label Saddle Creek and U.F.O.F. with the label 4AD. Their album Capacity was on a number of album of the year lists including SPIN’s 50 Best Albums of 2017 and NPR’s Bob Boilen’s Top Ten Albums of 2017. They have released a number of singles, including “Dandelion”, “Masterpiece”, “Mother”, “Mythological Beauty”, “Shark Smile”, “Haley”, and “UFOF”.
