Bethany Mota is a social media influencer and singer born in Merced County, California on November 7, 1995. She started her YouTube channel in 2009 and posts videos about her style, travels, beauty tips and tutorials, cooking and more to her channel. She has amassed a following of 10 million subscribers and has over 991 million total video views on the channel. In 2013 she launched a clothing, accessories, and perfume line at the teen clothing store Aeropostale. She released her debut single titled “Need You Right Now” in 2014 and followed it up in 2015 with the song “Be Who You Wanna Be.” Mota has been in several television shows, including Project Runway, Dancing with the Stars, and Celebrity Undercover Boss. Throughout her career she has won a three Teen Choice Awards and a Streamy Award. She also has a large following on social media with 5 million followers on Instagram, 5.31 million followers on Twitter, and 1.6 million followers on Facebook.
