Bernard Flowers is a new up-and-coming musician from Memphis, Tennessee, who creates music in the genres of R&B, hip-hop, soul, and pop. Flowers began rapping at age thirteen, and moved to Atlanta with a friend at age 20 to pursue a career in music. His original sound, as vocalized by Flowers, was much more of an edgy, modern gangster style. When that didn’t seem to fit his personality, Flowers made a switch to a cooler, lighter sound that he feels best represents what he is trying to portray with his music.

Flowers released his debut single, “This Feeling,” with Epic Record Label in 2016. As a way to introduce himself to fans and the world alike, Flowers released a self-biographical documentary shortly after his first single debuted. The documentary, entitled The Escape, details Flowers life and musical journey in an incredibly personal way that has received praise from both fans and critics.
