Beach Slang

Beach Slang

Coming from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Beach Slang was formed in 2013. The punk-indie band was found by lead vocalist and guitarist James Alex, bassist Ed McNulty, guitarist Ruben Gallego, and drummer J.P. Flexner. Beach Slang released “Who Would Ever Want Anything So Broken?” and “Cheap Thrills on a Dead End Street” as their first two EPs.

Their critically-acclaimed full-length “The Things We Do to Find People Who Feel Like Us” was released on October 2015. Their sophomore LP “A Loud Bash of Teenage Feelings” followed after a year. Flexner soon left the band and was replaced by multiple guest drummers.
